Background info:
This tea set consists of 4 pieces. A small tea pot, a large tea pot, a sugary and a milk jug. The hallmark stamped on the bottom of each piece consists of the letters "EV", which stands for Edward Viner. The letters are followed by a crown symbol and a lion symbol indicating that the set was manufactured in Sheffield. These symbols are followed by the letter "U" - This particular style of the letter U was stamped into pieces manufactured in 1962. Under the hallmark, letters stamped into the pieces read: "HAND CHASED STERLING MADE IN ENGLAND"
Composition:
The set is made out of solid sterling silver, which means no less than 92.5% silver content. It weighs a total of 3380grams. The high silver content gives the set a lustrous, reflective quality.
Condition:
The set is overall in great condition. minor wear scratches can be seen around the pieces. There is staining/tarnish on the inside of the tea pots. The handle of the smaller teapot is slightly loose, but still holding.
